MainstreamBIO webinar series

Unlocking the Potential of Bioeconomy: MainstreamBIO Webinar Series already started!

Starting from next week, Munster Technological University as part of the Horizon Europe-funded MainstreamBIO project will be launching a webinar series focused on "Unlocking the Potential of the Bioeconomy". The series, running over 6 weeks will feature key experts across different sectors of Europe's bioeconomy, highlighting the latest developments, covering multiple topics, and exploring new opportunities.

We commence our series next week, with an introduction to the circular bioeconomy, featuring Luisa Mascia of the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking, a EUR 2 billion partnership between the European Commission and the Bio-based Industries Consortium,  that funds circular bioeconomy projects under Horizon Europe. We will also hear from Ireland's Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, following the recent launch of Ireland's Bioeconomy Action Plan 2023-2025 concerning the role of policy in supporting bioeconomy developments. We will also feature interesting speakers from bio-based industries that have already successfully scaled. We are sharing the full list of webinars and the registration link here - in case you or your students are interested to join any of the webinars.
